The Colorado Springs St. Patrick’s Day parade is gearing up for its 39th annual Parade and Events! We host not only the biggest parade in Colorado Springs, but the flattest 5k, Funnest Fun Run, coolest kids scavenger hunt, our super snazzy sports expo, and so much more! Join us for this year’s festival! The Parade is Saturday, March 11, at 12 noon in Downtown Colorado Springs! Be apart of this annual event by signing up for the parade! Please remember you are required to decorate you entry! see the registration form for more details!
The Parade is always held on a Saturday. If St. Patrick’s Day does not fall on a Saturday, the Parade is held the Saturday before St. Pat’s Day. The Parade always steps off at Noon.
The Parade route begins on the corner of Tejon Street and E. St. Vrain and continues south on Tejon Street to Vermijo. The best seats are at the St. Pat’s Grand Stands, tickets are available both online and in person. However, the whole length of Tejon provides plenty of places to watch from, just keep yourself and any wee little ones behind the chalk line! You can also watch the Parade from our pop-up bar, The Paddy O'Pub, located on Bijou and Tejon. We serve beer, whiskey, and a good time!
Best place to park is in any one of the City Parking Garages or other downtown parking lots. Street Meters will be working! If you park in residential areas, please be respectful of driveways and landscaping! Illegal parking can result in tickets, fines or having your car towed!
The Parade typically lasts about 1-1/2 hours.
We’d like to see EVERYONE dressed in GREEN (or orange or white – colors of the Irish flag)! Paint a shamrock on your cheek! Add some green glitter to your hair! Have fun! But seriously, the weather in Colorado Springs can change quickly so be prepared for anything!
Food and drink are sold at numerous locations along the parade route at local restaurants and pubs and at food booths on the street. Booths will serve soft drinks, hot dogs, burgers, tamales, etc. along with beverages. In addition, there are many restaurants in downtown Colorado Springs. Alcohol is not allowed anywhere outside along the parade route. But if you do want to grab a drink with us, join us at the Paddy O'Pub, located on Bijou on the east side of Tejon! We will serve beer and whiskey for all of those looking for a unique parade experience!
